Clockinator Pro menu is missing

Confirm the plugin is active, the current user has the required WordPress capability, and any addon-dependent menu has its addon/license condition satisfied.

Employee menu is missing

Check that the user has an employee record and that its Clockinator role matches the intended employee-facing workflow. The menu controller contains role-specific conditions.

Attendance time looks wrong

Check Clockinator Pro → Settings → General Settings → Timezone and Time Format. Then verify the employee's shift/location configuration.

Clocking is unavailable

Check the dashboard/clock-in settings, employee access, IP restriction configuration and any addon/API dependency involved in your chosen clocking method.

Reports are empty

Verify that employees exist, the test employee has a valid organization setup, and actual clock-in/out data has been recorded for the selected reporting period.

QR/Kiosk menu is missing

The QR menu is conditional. Confirm the QR/Kiosk addon activation condition is satisfied.

API/biometric functionality is unavailable

Check addon activation, API credentials, device configuration and the conditional menu registration. Do not assume hardware compatibility without confirming the integration.

Emails/SMS are not delivered

Review notification settings and templates, then test provider configuration independently. Confirm recipient data is present.
