Roles & Permissions
The supplied code uses both WordPress capabilities and Clockinator employee-role values.
Employee roles exposed in the employee form

The leave view also recognizes manager as a filter value. Do not confuse this with a guaranteed employee-form role unless it is available in your installation.
Admin access
The main admin menu is registered for manage_options. Employee-facing menus are conditionally registered for users with the subscriber capability and filtered by the Clockinator employee role.
